Fees & Supplies
Getting Started…
I offer a FREE consultation for new students and parents. This is a great way for us to meet, for me to show you the types of projects that we will be working on, and for us to discuss your expectations and goals! Please feel free to bring samples of your work (not required).
Drawing Lesson Fees:
Art lessons at Gina’s Studio are paid for just like any other extracurricular club, sport, park district or college class – at the beginning of the course – regardless of how many lessons a student can or cannot make. Payment will be collected at the first lesson of the month. Except for December 2010 which will be prorated at $15 a lesson, the monthly lesson fee will be a flat rate as flows, regardless of the number of weeks in a month:
A weekly ½ hour lesson for one student - $75/month
A weekly ½ hour lesson for two students - $100/month
A bi-weekly ½ hour lesson for one student - $38/month
A bi-weekly ½ hour lesson for two students - $50/month p>
Families with multiple students taking individual lessons:
A weekly ½ hour lesson for two students - $140/month ($75 + $75 - $10) Please note: this rate also applies for a single student taking two ½ hour lessons/week.
A weekly ½ hour lesson for three students - $205/month ($75 + $75 + $75 - $20)
A weekly ½ hour lesson for one student and a bi-weekly lesson for a second student - $108/month ($75 + $38 - $5)
A bi-weekly ½ hour lesson for two students - $75/month (please note: two students each taking a bi-weekly lesson do not receive a family discount as only one slot is being filled.)
Please contact me concerning additional arrangements not listed here.
If I cancel a scheduled lesson or a lesson has to be cancelled due to severe weather conditions, a credit WILL be applied to the next month’s tuition. If payment is not made by the second week of the month, lessons will cease until payment is made. If a student goes three weeks without contacting me or making payment their lesson time will be made available to someone on the waiting list. If, at anytime, you need to change your weekly lesson day or time, please let me know and I will see what I can do.
I understand that there are times when there is a legitimate scheduling conflict (such as a lesson falling on a minor holiday). If I am notified in advance of said conflict (min. 1 week) I will do my best to reschedule the lesson on a different day. Make-up lesson must be taken within two weeks; no credit will be given. Scheduling priority will be given to those students who consistently put effort into completing their homework.
